Gideon Dignadice
Lead Pastor
Pastor Gideon is a young, energetic, and passionate speaker and teacher. He comes from Pasadena, California. He holds a Master’s degree and a wide range of field experience and also as a Professor at a Seminary. In California, he served as Pastor for many years bringing growth and vast outreach to the Filipinos in that area. In late summer of 2019, Pastor Gideon became the Lead Pastor of the Filipino American Christian Fellowship Church in Tucson. When the FACF merged with Rincon Baptist in August of 2022 he was installed as Lead Pastor of the newly formed church United Christian Fellowship.
Joel Reyes
Pastor Emeritus
In September 2008, Pastor Joel Reyes and his wife, Beth, moved to Tucson and began attending the Bible studies and monthly worship services at what would become the Filipino American Christian Fellowship of Tucson (FACFT) church, where he was asked to lead the Friday evening Bible studies. Shortly thereafter he accepted the call to pastor that church.
He was officially installed as Pastor in January of 2009. Under his leadership and direction the church grew and soon began meeting at Rincon Baptist Church until January of 2020 when they moved into their own facilities. At the end of 2018, Pastor Joel announced his retirement, but he remained in leadership at FACFT as an Elder.
In April of 2022, Rincon Baptist Church culminated their search for a new Pastor in calling Pastor Joel Reyes to lead the church as Transitional Pastor. He officially began his duites on March 1, 2022. In August of 2022, the FACFT and Rincon Baptist merged forming a new church, United Christian Fellowship, and Pastor Gideon Dignadice was installed as Lead Pastor of the newly formed body. Pastor Joel is now Pastor Emeritus.
